Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs. medium shrimp, clean.
- 1 ½ tsp. TAJÍN® Clásico Seasoning
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 clove garlic minced
CARIBBEAN SAUCE:
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ½ cup onion minced
- ¼ cup red bell pepper minced
- ¼ cup green bell pepper minced
- ¼ cup ripe tomato minced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tbsp. wheat flour
- ¼ cup Tajín® Mild Hot Sauce
- ½ cup shrimp or fish broth
- ½ cup white wine
- ¼ cup fresh coriander minced
- ½ tbsp. TAJÍN® Clásico Seasoning
Preparation
- In a medium container add shrimp and marinate with olive oil, garlic, Tajin® Clásico Seasoning and leave in the refrigerator until time to cook.
- In a pan, add a little bit of olive oil, heat, add shrimp and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until they are golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add a little bit of olive oil, heat, add onions, peppers, tomato, garlic and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add wheat flour, Tajin® Mild Hot Sauce, wine, shrimp or fish broth, bay leaf, and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add shrimp, fresh coriander, salt to taste and sprinkle with half a tablespoon of Tajín® Clásico Seasoning.
