Ingredients
For the sauce
- 2 tablespoons of Tajín® Mild Hot Sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
For the tacos
- 2 tilapia fillets, cut into strips
- 8 medium shrimp, clean
- A pinch of salt and ground black pepper
- ½ cup flour
- 1 eggs, beaten with two tablespoons of water
- 1 cup panko
- 1 cup oil, hot
- 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 4 flour tortillas
- ½ avocado
- ½ cup cabbage, filleted
- ¼ cup peanuts, toasted
- 2 tablespoons red onion, filleted
- Tajín Clásico®
Preparation
For the sauce
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until fully integrated.
For the tacos
Boost the flavor of the tilapia fillets and shrimp with salt and ground black pepper. Spread flour, eggs and panko on different plates and pass the fish on each one.
Cook in hot oil until golden brown. Heat the flour tortillas and spread a little mayonnaise, place a cabbage base on top and assemble the tacos with shrimp and tilapia strips. Bathe with a few lines of sweet and sour sauce and finish the tacos with peanuts, onion, and cilantro. Sprinkle on Tajín Clásico® and enjoy.
